I can help you to take control of your stress. I will help you to recognise your triggers, put together a toolkit of helpful reactions and responses, and find ways to prioritise the demands upon you. I will work with you to make the right changes and to find the best techniques for you to put you in control.

There is no one-size-fits-all but the following paragraphs will give you some idea of the things we will look at as you take control of your stress.

Taking control

You may feel overwhelmed by the many demands being made upon you. So, one of the things we can do is to identify all of those demands. We can then look at how important they are and what impact they are having on you, and from there decide on an order to deal with them.

It may be that one or two particular things are causing you the most stress and so we can look at ways to handle these first.

You are probably already handling some potentially stressful situations well, and so we can look at these to see how you can use these experiences in other stressful situations.

It is important to find realistic ways for you to manage your stress triggers. You may be able to solve some with practical changes. For others, you may need to change how you react and respond to them, and I can introduce you to techniques to help with this.

I will help you to step back, and you will find that things start to fall into place. While you may not be able to eliminate all stress from your life you will learn ways to take control of it.

Coaching is all about you

My role, as your Life Coach, is to help you to make the right changes for you in the right ways for you, so I will be guided by you at all times as to what you want to work on.

You will find my sessions relaxed and friendly, and focused fully on you. I will listen carefully to you, ask you thought-provoking questions and be your very own impartial sounding board and critical friend. I can also introduce NLP techniques to help you change how you think about or react to particular events.
